FABRIC & TRIM REQUIREMENTS
Main fabric: 0.85 m / 0.9 yds (110 cm / 44” wide)
Lining fabric: 0.4 m / 0.5 yds (110 cm / 44” wide)
Tiny piece of iron-on fusing (10 cm x 4 cm / 4” x 1.5”)
38–40 cm / 15” #5 metal zipper
Teflon sewing foot and zipper foot (for leather or PU leather)
Heavy-duty sewing thread
Heavy-duty sewing needles (90/14, 100/16, or 110/18 depending on fabric)
EVA foam or similar material for optional base insert
Wire cutters (for removing metal teeth from zipper)
Optional: Fabric clips (for holding leather / PU leather)
FABRIC SUGGESTIONS
Medium to heavy-weight fabrics such as cotton canvas or denim
Leather or faux leather for a more structured finish
Soft, malleable fabrics that handle curved zippers easily
Note:
Test thick layers of fabric or leather before starting
For leather hides, bring your pattern pieces to ensure large enough sections and avoid natural imperfections
